Keyboard legend Keith Emerson (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer) joined B.O.T. on stage for 2 songs at O'Brien's in Santa Monica, CA. At the beginning of the 2nd set, Emerson jumped up for a brief "Tarkus" tease that led into a rocking version of "Hideaway" (Freddie King) featuring Mike and Keith trading riffs together on the Hammond Organ. Towards the end of the 2nd set, Emerson emerged again as the band sequed out of "Black Satin" (Miles Davis), and took over the organ for a raging improvised "Jam", trading off with Mangan.
